Young Investigators Meeting
We are holding a Young Investigators meeting that will take place the day before our Symposium on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, via Zoom. This meeting is geared toward graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty.
Virginia Man-Yee Lee, Ph.D., John H. Ware 3rd Endowed Professor in Alzheimer’s Research at the University of Pennsylvania is our keynote speaker. we will have an online poster presentation from sixteen young investigators via online Zoom links and also twelve oral presentations by young investigators. There will also be a career chat with Virginia Man-Yee Lee at the end of the meeting.

8th Annual Protein Folding Diseases Initiative Symposium
Our 8th Annual Protein Folding Diseases Initiative Symposium will take place on Thursday, October 14, 2021, via Zoom.
Our keynote speaker is Martin Kampmann, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Investigator and the Paul G. Allen Distinguished Investigator at the University of California San Francisco. We will also have an internal presentation by Shyamal Mosalaganti, Ph.D., Research Assistant Professor, Life Sciences Institute and Assistant Professor in Cell and Developmental Biology and Biological Chemistry. Rounding out our Symposium will be talks from our top three Young Investigators
